AMD gave some numbers on what kind of performance benefits can those on the red team expect from this driver when playing Halo Infinite, seen below. The benefits should apply to the free-to-play multiplayer component of the shooter as well as the upcoming campaign on December 8.
In its internal testing, AMD saw 17%, 19%, and 16% increases to performance on the RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, and RX 6700 XT graphics cards, respectively with this driver. The tests were done on a system with a Ryzen 9 5900X CPU paired with 16GB RAM and Windows 10. The game was running at 4K using the Ultra preset on all three benchmarks.
